Keane leaves Sunderland
Sunderland manager Roy Keane has left the club this morning after a poor run of results. Sunderland have only won one match of their last seven in all competitions.
Keane leaves with the club in the relegation zone and ahead of the weekend match against champions Manchester United on Saturday.
Here at William Hill we are already betting on who will replace Roy Keane in the Sunderland hotseat.
Current 5/4 favourite is ex-Newcastle and Bolton boss Sam Allardyce. Second in the betting is ex-Charlton and West Ham manager Alan Curbishley at 6/1.
Others who feature prominently in the betting are ex-England manager Steve McClaren (7/1), recently departed Waford boss Aidy Boothroyd (9/1) and former Aston Villa and Leeds manager David O'Leary (9/1).
Niall Quinn, the current Sunderland chairman, is quoted as a 16/1 shot to take over at his club for a second time. His first spell was short-lived losing five of six games before replacing himself with Keane.
