Valladolid v Malaga

  • Valladolid are without a win in six games against Malaga in the top-flight (D3 L3).
  • The side from the Costa del Sol have only won once at the home of Valladolid in La Liga since their reformation, however, (D5 L2): 3-1 in 2009.
  • Real Valladolid have only won one of their last nine league games (D2 L6).
  • Valladolid are unbeaten in six league games against sides from Andalusia (W2 D4), with their last victory coming against Malaga (2-1 in October 2012).
  • Malaga are winless in eight away league games (D2 L6), their last victory on the road coming against Rayo back in March (3-1).
  • Angolan striker Manucho, who has still not appeared this season, scored in both meetings with Malaga last season.
  • JIM's side have only scored one second-half goal all season; a joint-league-low figure with Granada.
