League One Opta Facts – February 9th

Bournemouth v Portsmouth

  • Pompey are unbeaten in five meetings (all comps) with Bournemouth, winning three and drawing two.
  • This is Portsmouth's first away game against the Cherries since October 1989, when they won 1-0 in the old second division.
  • Brett Pitman has scored six goals in his last eight league games for Bournemouth.
  • Portsmouth have conceded at least twice in each of their last eight league games (23 in total) and have only managed one clean sheet in their last 18.

Brentford v Bury

  • Brentford are unbeaten in four league meetings with the Shakers, winning two and drawing two.
  • At Griffin Park, the Bees have won five of their last six against Bury, losing the other 1-4 in March 2008.
  • Uwe Rosler's side have only won one of their last six league games (D3 L2), while striker Clayton Donaldson has three of their five goals in that run.
  • Bury ended a run of nine league games without a win with a 2-0 victory over high-flying Doncaster last time out.

Carlisle v Stevenage

Notts County v Crewe

  • County, who have recently sacked manager Keith Curle, are unbeaten in five against Crewe in the league, winning four (including the last three).
  • In 16 trips to Meadow Lane to face the Magpies in the Football League, the Railwaymen have only mustered 11 goals, conceding 39.
  • Crewe have scored exactly once in each of their last five games, and have not failed to score in any of their last 11, the longest current run in the division.

Oldham v MK Dons

  • MK Dons have never kept a clean sheet at Boundary Park in the league; in six games there they have won two and lost four, conceding 11 goals.
  • Despite this, the Latics have only won one of their last six against the Dons (D2 L3).
  • MK Dons have only kept one clean sheet in their last 10 league games.

Scunthorpe v Crawley

  • The Blades are unbeaten in four meetings with Shrewsbury in all competitions, winning three and drawing one (they went on to win this game on penalties).
  • The Shrews have not mustered a goal in any of their last four clashes with Sheffield United, last netting in a 1-0 win back in February 1988.
  • Danny Wilson's men are without a win in five league games, drawing two and losing three.
