Oldham's inconsistent run goes on
Oldham started the season as 25/1 shots for League One glory but the Latics started the season so well winning four of their first five league games that their odds were shortened to just 6/1.
However, since then they have been very inconsistent winning just one match, at home to strugglers Hereford, as a result their odds are now at 12/1 following their 2-0 loss away at Bristol Rovers.
Scunthorpe remain top of the table as they extended their unbeaten run to ten matches with a 1-1 draw at home to Southend. However, as a result of others winning Scunthorpe were lengthend marginally to 6/1 from 11/2, Southend remained unchanged as 16/1 shots.
Millwall (10/1 from 16/1) moved up to second after defeating Colchester 2-1, overtaking title favourites Leicester (9/4 from 15/8) in the process who could only draw at home to Walsall. Second favourites Leeds were cut to 5/2 after beating Leyton Orient at Elland Road.
MK Dons (25/1), Peterborough (14/1) and Tranmere (40/1) all sit just two points outside the play-offs. Without a doubt the game of Tuesday night was at Victoria Park where Hartlepool beat Huddersfield 5-3.
Hartlepool is the ground to be at if it is goals you are after, in the six matches played there so far this season an average of over five have been scored per match.
