Terry dropped as captain
John Terry has been sensationally sacked as England captain following news of his alleged affair with Wayne Bridge's former girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel.
Rio Ferdinand will now lead the team out for England's friendly against Egypt at Wembley on March 3.
The Manchester United ace is now also firm favourite to be The Three Lions' skipper in their World Cup opener against USA.
