West Ham Preferred Bidder But Don't Call The Movers Yet
West Ham were announced on Wednesday as the preferred bidders for the Olympic Stadium, but it looks as though it will be a long and drawn out process with William Hill offering 2/1 that the Hammers have not played competitive game in the Stadium before the 1st January 2018. 2015 looks the most likely year at 5/4.
"The Olympic Stadium saga has already rumbled on for some time and despite the decision on Wednesday, this story looks like it will run for a while longer yet," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
Sam Allardyce has done a sterling effort to get the club into the position that they are and he is 4/6 to still be manager when the club play their first competitive game in the stadium.
