US lead charge at USPGA...How many majors will Tiger miss the cut in?
Steve Stricker is the slight 9/2 favourite heading into the final day's play at the USPGA. Stricker is currently in fifth place, three shots behind unheralded US players Brendan Steele and Jason Dufner who are priced at 5/1 each. Luke Donald and Lee Westwood are six shots behind the leaders and Hills go 25/1 about the pair winning.
"Having failed to win a major this year the American's have a great chance of finally winning major honours, although it may not be one of the big guns who walks away with the trophy come the early hours of Monday morning," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
Tiger suffered a torrid time and failed to make the cut in Atlanta and William Hill are now offering odds on how many cuts Tiger will miss in the majors next year. He is 11/10 to miss one and 4/1 to miss two. He is 25/1 to miss the cut in all four of the 2012 majors but 11/8 to make all four.
