Shakes Drayton odds for London Gold Halved!
Perri Shakes Drayton provided the performance of the evening at the Diamond League meeting in London and William Hill have slashed her odds of winning gold at the Olympics from 10/1 to 5/1 and she is just 6/4 to win a medal. Dai Greene was beaten into second in the men's 400m hurdles by Javier Culson and William Hill have pushed his price of winning gold at London 2012 to 7/2 from 5/2, while at the same time making Culson 10/11. For the two British hurdlers to win gold is 33/1 with Hills.
"All the expectant eyes at Crystal Palace were on Dai Greene, but instead, Perri Shakes Drayton impressed and she seems to have hit form at just the right time," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
Mo Farah eased to victory in Crystal Palace and he is 5/4 to win gold in the 5,000m at the Olympics, while also being offered at 6/4 to win the 10,000m.
