Ed Miliband steals march over rivals
Ed Miliband is the first Labour Leader contender to chalk up the number of nominations he needs to cement his place in the race.
William Hill have cut his odds from 5/2 to 9/4 as a result, although brother David remains odds on favourite at 8/15.
"Ed's odds have shortened significantly since he put his name forward, at which point he was as long as a 5/1 chance," said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills also offer 7/1 Andy Burnham; 9/1 Ed Balls; 25/1 Diane Abbott; 66/1 John McDonnell.
