Bookies and Cheryl Dread Quarter Million Brazilian!

As it stands, Hills will be paying out just over a quarter of a million should Wagner win the X Factor for which he is now the fourth favourite and that figure could be set to increase drastically in the coming days. Wagner, who was originally 100/1 to win the show, has had his odds slashed in the last 24 hours from 14/1 to 10/1, which is incidentally the shortest price that Jedward were last year.

Wagner is fast becoming one of the nation's favourite acts and Cheryl Cole rather put her foot in it last week by challenging him on the live show. This appears to have affected her chances of returning as a judge next series with Louis a longer price (1/4) than Cheryl (1/3) to appear on next year's show. Hills are also offering 2/1 that a fifth judge is drafted in for 2011.

"The X-Factor version of marmite is really dividing opinion amongst fans and judges. He is fourth favourite to win the show whilst also being the second favourite to be booted off. He is proving quite an anomaly and nobody quite knows what will happen each week," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.

Matt is the 13/8 favourite to win the show ahead of One Direction 7/4 and Rebecca Ferguson 7/2.

Katie is the 5/4 favourite to get the boot ahead of Wagner, with Mary Byrne 4/1.
