Cheryl's American Dream Still On...UK X-Factor Setting The Barlow
With Cheryl Cole's X-Factor American Dream getting more and more like a distant speck on the horizon, she looks set to break into America another way. She is releasing her debut solo album, reworked by Will-I-Am, in the States and bookmakers William Hill are offering 4/6 it breaks into the top 10 and 5/1 it bags a US number one.
"Having Will-I-Am on board is like having a licence to print money and Cheryl's debut American album should go down a storm in the US," said Will-I-Am Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
Cheryl looks set to be returning to the UK X-Factor judging panel, but with Simon Cowell gallivanting in America, the question is, who will join her there? Lily Allen has distanced herself from the judging role and she has drifted in the betting from 4/1 to 8/1 with Hills to be named as the next permanent judge on the show. There has been a big move for Gary Barlow, however, in the last 24 hours and he has been backed in from 4/1 to 2/1 favourite.
"With Lily Allen distancing herself from the role and Cheryl Cole seemingly coming back to the show, it would appear that Gary Barlow is the tailor-made replacement for Simon," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
With Gary, potentially, otherwise engaged, Hills are offering 12/1 that Take That's tour later this year, takes place as a four piece.
William Hill Odds:
5/1 Cheryl's album to be number 1 in USA
4/6 Cheryl's album to get into top 10 in USA
