Following their 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa, Manchester City have bounced back with two 3-1 victories against Swansea (EFL Cup) and most recently Bournemouth (Premier League), meaning that’s still their only defeat in their last twelve outings.
Pep Guardiola’s side will be hoping they can continue this winning streak, especially with their home record in this competition, where City are unbeaten in their last twenty-two group/league phase fixtures since September 2018 (W19, D3).
Manchester City should get themselves at least a couple of goals on Wednesday night, they’ve scored two or more goals in their last twelve home games against German opposition, whilst Pep Guardiola hasn’t lost any of his last ten games against Dortmund.

Dortmund travel to Manchester having scored four goals in each of their first four games in this UEFA Champions League campaign, whilst their 2-1 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga last month remains their only defeat in any of their fourteen games this season.
The Yellow and Blacks are the underdogs on the betting market but that could be debatable, given BVB have lost just one of their last ten UEFA Champions League games (W6, D3).
The three times that these two sides have met in Manchester have all seen both teams find the back of the net, i think we’ll get more of the same but it’s so hard to back against Manchester City given their home record in this competition and the form of Erling Haaland.

Significant Conditions

The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
A “Qualifying Acca” is:
1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;
4. On the Promotion Markets.
The “Promotion Markets” are:
1. 90 Minutes;
2. 90 Minutes 2 Up;
3. Both Teams To Score;
4. Match Under/Over Goals.
No opt in required. If the requirements of a Qualifying Acca are met, the promotion will be applied automatically. If any acca contains any selection with odds of less than 1/5 (1.2), it will not be a Qualifying Acca.
Qualifying Acca wins (less the value of the original stake) will receive an “Acca Boost”, whereby winnings will be boosted by a variable percentage, dependent on the number of selections in the Qualifying Acca:
1. 4 selections – 5% Acca Boost
2. 5 selections – 7.5% Acca Boost
3. 6 selections – 10% Acca Boost
4. 7 selections – 15% Acca Boost
5. 8 selections – 20% Acca Boost
6. 9 selections – 25% Acca Boost
7. 10 selections – 30% Acca Boost
8. 11 selections – 35% Acca Boost
9. 12 selections – 40% Acca Boost
10. 13 selections – 45% Acca Boost
11. 14 selections – 50% Acca Boost
12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
1. For retail customers: £2,000
2. For online customers: £10,000.
There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
Any acca that has been cashed out will not be eligible for an Acca Boost.
For retail customers, the promotion is not available on standard over the counter bets.
