The UEFA Champions League returns this week with some of Europe’s biggest clubs looking to put themselves on their way to Budapest for the final in May.

These two sides played out a UEFA Champions League classic on Matchday eight when a last-minute header from Benfica goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin secured a play-off spot for the Portuguese giants, they’ll be looking to do it all again against UCL royalty Real Madrid.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Champions League odds and betting angles for Tuesday’s fixture:

Benfica return to the Estadio da Luz on Tuesday night where they’ve won four of their previous six UEFA home games this season including that big 4-2 victory against Real Madrid here just three weeks ago.
The Eagles have won eight of their last eleven two-legged European ties although their record against Spanish opposition isn’t great having lost each of their last five UEFA two-legged ties, Jose Mourinho’s side are 13/5 to win this first-leg, whilst you can also back them at 23/10 on the 90 Minutes – 2 Up market.
It’s unusual for Mourinho’s sides to be involved in goal-fests but that’s what’s occurred in their last five home games in all competitions, with all five producing at least four goals, we should be in for more of the same in this one.

Real Madrid will travel to Lisbon looking for revenge, they felt hard done by having finishing the game with just nine players following two red cards, Los Blancos have won each of their last three league games since that defeat here.
Kylian Mbappe should return to the starting line-up for this one having spent Saturday’s 4-1 win against Real Sociedad on the bench, the French superstar scored two here just three weeks ago adding to his brilliant record so far, with thirteen goals in just seven appearances in the UCL, five more than Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane, he’s currently 10/3 to score another brace.
We could see a fairly slow and cautious start to this game given it’s going to be played over two-legs but i’m expecting goals once the game settles down, it’s hard to ignore that Real Madrid had won eight of their last ten (D2) meetings against Portuguese teams, i’m backing Los Blancos to win this one.

Significant Conditions

The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
A “Qualifying Acca” is:
1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;
4. On the Promotion Markets.
The “Promotion Markets” are:
1. 90 Minutes;
2. 90 Minutes 2 Up;
3. Both Teams To Score;
4. Match Under/Over Goals.
No opt in required. If the requirements of a Qualifying Acca are met, the promotion will be applied automatically. If any acca contains any selection with odds of less than 1/5 (1.2), it will not be a Qualifying Acca.
Qualifying Acca wins (less the value of the original stake) will receive an “Acca Boost”, whereby winnings will be boosted by a variable percentage, dependent on the number of selections in the Qualifying Acca:
1. 4 selections – 5% Acca Boost
2. 5 selections – 7.5% Acca Boost
3. 6 selections – 10% Acca Boost
4. 7 selections – 15% Acca Boost
5. 8 selections – 20% Acca Boost
6. 9 selections – 25% Acca Boost
7. 10 selections – 30% Acca Boost
8. 11 selections – 35% Acca Boost
9. 12 selections – 40% Acca Boost
10. 13 selections – 45% Acca Boost
11. 14 selections – 50% Acca Boost
12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
1. For retail customers: £2,000
2. For online customers: £10,000.
There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
Any acca that has been cashed out will not be eligible for an Acca Boost.
For retail customers, the promotion is not available on standard over the counter bets.
