9/1 for Liverpool to beat Galatasaray 3-1 looks good value, as does both teams to score & Liverpool to win at 5/4 with William Hill.

The UEFA Champions League returns this week with some of Europe’s biggest clubs looking to put themselves on their way to Budapest for the final in May.

Liverpool will be hoping for one of those special nights under the lights at Anfield as they take on Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League needing a win to progress.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some UEFA Champions League odds and betting angles for Wednesday’s fixture:

Liverpool must win on Wednesday night if they are to progress into the UEFA Champions League quarter-final stage but even returning to Anfield won’t fill their fans with too much confidence given their performance here against Spurs on Sunday (1-1 draw).
The Reds have won 15 of their last 19 UEFA matches at Anfield, but did lose the other four. They have won five of their six previous UEFA home matches against Turkish opposition (D1), keeping clean sheets in five of those six games, William Hill have Arne Slot’s side as firm favourites to qualify at 4/11.
None of Liverpool’s last thirty UEFA Champions League games ended in a draw(W21, L9), while none of their last fifty European matches ended goalless, Liverpool should be expected to bounce back at Anfield under the lights.

Galatasaray find themselves just ninety-minutes away from making the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals for the first time since the 2012/2013 campaign following their 1-0 victory in Istanbul last week.
The Lions have won fourteen of their seventeen previous UEFA two-legged ties after winning the first leg at home, Okan Buruk’s side are an eye-watering 8/1 to win this game in ninety-minutes with William Hill.
Galatasaray have won only one of their twelve previous UEFA away matches against English teams (D3 L8), their sole victory a 3-2 win at Manchester United in the 2023/24 Champions League group stage, this is an interesting encounter but i’m backing Liverpool to edge it due to Galatasaray vulnerabilities.

Significant Conditions

The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
A “Qualifying Acca” is:
1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;
4. On the Promotion Markets.
The “Promotion Markets” are:
1. 90 Minutes;
2. 90 Minutes 2 Up;
3. Both Teams To Score;
4. Match Under/Over Goals.
No opt in required. If the requirements of a Qualifying Acca are met, the promotion will be applied automatically. If any acca contains any selection with odds of less than 1/5 (1.2), it will not be a Qualifying Acca.
Qualifying Acca wins (less the value of the original stake) will receive an “Acca Boost”, whereby winnings will be boosted by a variable percentage, dependent on the number of selections in the Qualifying Acca:
1. 4 selections – 5% Acca Boost
2. 5 selections – 7.5% Acca Boost
3. 6 selections – 10% Acca Boost
4. 7 selections – 15% Acca Boost
5. 8 selections – 20% Acca Boost
6. 9 selections – 25% Acca Boost
7. 10 selections – 30% Acca Boost
8. 11 selections – 35% Acca Boost
9. 12 selections – 40% Acca Boost
10. 13 selections – 45% Acca Boost
11. 14 selections – 50% Acca Boost
12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
1. For retail customers: £2,000
2. For online customers: £10,000.
There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
Any acca that has been cashed out will not be eligible for an Acca Boost.
For retail customers, the promotion is not available on standard over the counter bets.
