The UEFA Champions League returns this week with some of Europe’s biggest clubs looking to put themselves on their way to Budapest for the final in May.

For the second time in just a matter of days, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid meet once again, this time in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg on Wednesday evening.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some UEFA Champions League odds and betting angles for Wednesday’s fixture:

Barcelona return to home soil having beat Atletico Madrid 2-1 away from home in La Liga on Saturday night in controversial circumstances, Hansi Flick’s side made the most of their player advantage and the victory moves them seven points clear at the top with just eight games left to play.
Barca will be looking to reach a consecutive UEFA Champions League semi-final and they are in the right form to do so having won eight of their last nine games in all competitions (D1), Barca are 17/20 with William Hill to win this one with three or more match goals.
Barcelona have only failed to score in one of their last thirty Champions League matches but have not kept a clean sheet in their last thirteen games in the competition, suggesting we’re in for more drama and goals in this one.

Despite losing three of their four games against Barcelona this season, Atletico’s 4-0 victory back in February was enough to secure their a spot in the Copa del Rey final but they’d love to secure their first UCL semi-final since the 2016/2017 campaign.
Atleti have won five and lost five of their ten previous UEFA two-legged ties against Spanish teams and have lost only two of their last seven UEFA matches against them, although a concern would be the fact they’ve won just one of their last seven UEFA away matches, they are 4/1 to win here with the leading bookmaker.
Atletico Madrid will be hoping they can defend some sort of lead at home next week but history suggests that’s unlikely as they’ve won just one of their last nine visits here at Barcelona (L5, D3), we should see goals but Barca are expected to win.

Significant Conditions

The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
A “Qualifying Acca” is:
1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;
4. On the Promotion Markets.
The “Promotion Markets” are:
1. 90 Minutes;
2. 90 Minutes 2 Up;
3. Both Teams To Score;
4. Match Under/Over Goals.
No opt in required. If the requirements of a Qualifying Acca are met, the promotion will be applied automatically. If any acca contains any selection with odds of less than 1/5 (1.2), it will not be a Qualifying Acca.
Qualifying Acca wins (less the value of the original stake) will receive an “Acca Boost”, whereby winnings will be boosted by a variable percentage, dependent on the number of selections in the Qualifying Acca:
1. 4 selections – 5% Acca Boost
2. 5 selections – 7.5% Acca Boost
3. 6 selections – 10% Acca Boost
4. 7 selections – 15% Acca Boost
5. 8 selections – 20% Acca Boost
6. 9 selections – 25% Acca Boost
7. 10 selections – 30% Acca Boost
8. 11 selections – 35% Acca Boost
9. 12 selections – 40% Acca Boost
10. 13 selections – 45% Acca Boost
11. 14 selections – 50% Acca Boost
12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
1. For retail customers: £2,000
2. For online customers: £10,000.
There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
Any acca that has been cashed out will not be eligible for an Acca Boost.
For retail customers, the promotion is not available on standard over the counter bets.
