United Kingdom Eurovision Odds Plummet – Can ‘Look Mum No Computer’ Spring An Upset?

The United Kingdom’s chances of winning next week’s Eurovision Song Contest have severely drifted in recent weeks, according to odds at William Hill News.

‘Look Mum No Computer’ were already considered outsiders at 20/1 to win the competition but now trade at a massive 80/1, placing them 17th in the betting.

Finland are meanwhile the big favourites to triumph in the 2026 edition of the contest. Having been 4/1 favourites back in February, support for Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen has been strong, with their odds now as short as 5/4 with the leading bookmaker.

Denmark are next in the betting, holding firm at 11/2, joint with Greece who have also been towards the head of the market since it opened.

Eurovision Outright Winner Odds 2026:

  • Finland – 5/4
  • Denmark – 11/2
  • Greece – 11/2
  • Australia – 15/2
  • France – 9/1
  • Israel – 18/1
  • Bar – 20/1

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “The 2026 Eurovision Song Contest is just around the corner and the market is really starting to take shape, with Finland the clear punters’ pick and the UK’s chances plummeting.

“Having been 4/1 favourites when most of the acts were announced, Finland have since been very popular in the betting and are now the undeniable frontrunners at 5/4, ahead of Denmark at 11/2.

“It looks as though it could be another bleak year for the UK who have been friendless in the betting, drifting from 20/1 at the time of ‘Look Mum No Computer’, to 80/1 wide outsiders less then 10 days out from the competition.”
