We’re now in the business end of the 2026 Wimbledon Tennis Championships and William Hill News preview the two women’s semifinals taking place at SW19 today.

Follow the latest tennis news at William Hill and enjoy the best of Wimbledon this summer.

Wimbledon Predictions Thursday:

  • Karolína Muchová vs Coco Gauff: Over 2.5 total sets (21/20)
  • Marta Kostyuk -2.5 games (11/10)

Thursday sees the Wimbledon women’s semifinals take place. Only one of the top eight seeds remains, with the world’s top three players all falling before the quarters. Here are our tennis betting tips for Thursday’s matches:

Karolína Muchová vs Coco Gauff

Coco Gauff has done it the hard way. She’s gone to three sets in all of her matches since the first round, and had to come from a set down against Jessica Pegula and Belinda Bencic.

Karolína Muchová was much more dominant in her win over Naomi Osaka. Given that Osaka had dispatched Aryna Sabalenka, it was a real statement from the Czech. This is her first semifinal appearance at Wimbledon, but there’s no question she’s got the all-court game to be a Wimbledon champion.

Gauff has been in the ascendancy in this matchup. She won their first five meetings, with Muchová’s lone win coming on the clay of Stuttgart earlier this year.

Two of their three meetings in 2026 have gone the distance.

Linda Nosková vs Marta Kostyuk

Has anyone played better tennis than Marta Kostyuk over the last couple of months? The Ukrainian’s winning streak, which included a quarter-final win over Linda Nosková in Madrid, came to an end at the French Open, but she’s picked up where she left off with the deepest Wimbledon run of her career.

Nosková hasn’t had the easiest draw. She’s had to play at a high level to get this far. If a title in Berlin prepared us for this run, a first-round loss in her final grass-court event before Wimbledon suggested otherwise.

Both of these players are gunning to make their first-ever Grand Slam final. Kostyuk’s form means she’s the deserving favourite here – the Ukrainian will take some beating.
