Omega European Masters Betting Tips 2026: Best Bets & Predictions at Crans-sur-Sierre

Ryan Gerard and Matt Wallace are tied for the shortest golf betting odds ahead of the 2026 European Masters.

Gerard, who finished third at the Tour Championship, and Wallace, who tied for second at this event 12 months ago, is also followed by Rasmus Højgaard, Nicolai Højgaard, and Marco Penge at 20/1.

Course Overview

Located in the Swiss Alps, Crans-sur-Sierre is one of the most picturesque golf courses in the world. Small greens present a challenge on approach, though three driveable par 4s offer birdie and eagle opportunities.

It’s hard to find a clear trend among the golfers that thrive here. Sometimes it’s just about having a hot putter. A high count of greens in regulation is generally key. Course form has often been a good indicator of success, but then four of the last six winners were course debutants.

Wedge play is important here given that big numbers can happen quickly. Players that have been striking the ball consistently of late are well-positioned to make a run, as the thin air can be unforgiving.

Conditions and Form

The British Masters were disrupted by stormy weather. Conditions were far from perfect as Joe Dean claimed a three-shot victory. The forecast is much clearer at Crans-sur-Sierre this weekend, though some early morning mist could delay tee times.

Outside of Dean, Davis Bryant has had a couple of good recent results, including tying for ninth at the British Masters. Marcus Helligkilde has made the cut at the three straight events and has been one of the best approach players on the DP World Tour.

After missing the cut at the Rocket Classic, Harry Hall tied for fifth at the Wyndham Championship and played well at the St. Jude Championship. The Englishman was 30th at the British Masters.

Don’t worry that it’s Hall’s course debut. Plenty of first timers have excelled at Crans-sur-Sierre in recent years. The key here is the form Hall brings into the event after a strong end to his PGA Tour campaign – he also boasts excellent play around the greens and was dialled in with his irons at the Wyndham Championship.

Sudarshan Yellamaraju struggled at the Rocket Classic and the St. Jude Championship. That was almost entirely down to putter woes, though, with the Canadian posting elite strokes gained numbers on approach. He’s got good touch around the greens. With three top 10s this year, there’s value taking Yellamaraju each-way.

It’s two top 20 finishes in three events for Helligkilde. The Dane tied for 26th at the British Masters and would’ve broken the top 20 once again if he didn’t double bogey the final hole. Poor putting cost Helligkilde earlier in the year. If he’s even passable on the greens, a top 20 finish is realistic.
