The UEFA Champions League returns this week with some of Europe’s biggest clubs looking to put themselves on their way to Budapest for the final in May.

The Metropolitano Stadium will be rocking on Tuesday night as Atletico Madrid look to defend their two goal advantage against Barcelona in this UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some UEFA Champions League odds and betting angles for Tuesday’s fixture:

Atletico Madrid made the most of their man advantage last week and will look to defend their 2-0 lead here in front of their own fans in this second leg, although last week’s victory remains Atleti’s only win in any of their last five outings in all competitions (L4).
Los Colchoneros won’t let their current form bother them too much though as they return to the Metropolitano Stadium where they’ve been beaten just once in Europe this season, Diego Simeone’s side are 13/5 to win this on the night with William Hill.
History is definitely in Atletico Madrid’s, they haven’t lost a UEFA Champions League knockout game at home since Ajax back in the 1996/1997 campaign, whilst they’ve never failed to progress in the UCL after winning the first leg away from home (22 matches).

The first leg defeat was Barcelona’s only defeat in their last eleven outings in all competitions (W9, D1) which includes Saturday’s 4-1 derby victory against Espanyol to move them nine points clear at the top of La Liga with just seven games left to play.
History is against Barcelona in this second leg having lost six of their last nine UEFA Champions League quarter-final ties but it’s just hard to write off this Barcelona side, Hansi Flick’s side are 13/5 with William Hill to qualify.
Barcelona have only failed to score in two of their last thirty one Champions League matches but have not kept a clean sheet in their last fourteen games in the competition, suggesting we’re in for more drama and goals in this one.

Significant Conditions

The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
A “Qualifying Acca” is:
1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;
4. On the Promotion Markets.
The “Promotion Markets” are:
1. 90 Minutes;
2. 90 Minutes 2 Up;
3. Both Teams To Score;
4. Match Under/Over Goals.
No opt in required. If the requirements of a Qualifying Acca are met, the promotion will be applied automatically. If any acca contains any selection with odds of less than 1/5 (1.2), it will not be a Qualifying Acca.
Qualifying Acca wins (less the value of the original stake) will receive an “Acca Boost”, whereby winnings will be boosted by a variable percentage, dependent on the number of selections in the Qualifying Acca:
1. 4 selections – 5% Acca Boost
2. 5 selections – 7.5% Acca Boost
3. 6 selections – 10% Acca Boost
4. 7 selections – 15% Acca Boost
5. 8 selections – 20% Acca Boost
6. 9 selections – 25% Acca Boost
7. 10 selections – 30% Acca Boost
8. 11 selections – 35% Acca Boost
9. 12 selections – 40% Acca Boost
10. 13 selections – 45% Acca Boost
11. 14 selections – 50% Acca Boost
12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
1. For retail customers: £2,000
2. For online customers: £10,000.
There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
Any acca that has been cashed out will not be eligible for an Acca Boost.
For retail customers, the promotion is not available on standard over the counter bets.
