11/10 for Atletico Madrid to win this one with three or more goals looks very good value, whilst a 2-1 victory for the Spanish side at 13/2 looks generous with William Hill.

The UEFA Champions League returns this week with some of Europe’s biggest clubs looking to put themselves on their way to Budapest for the final in May.

The Metropolitano will be bouncing on Tuesday night as Atletico Madrid welcome a struggling Tottenham Hotspur side in the UEFA Champions League.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some UEFA Champions League odds and betting angles for Tuesday’s fixture:

Atletico Madrid return to familiar surroundings having won their last four games on home soil in all competitions, including a 4-1 victory against Club Brugge in the play-off round to set up this clash with Spurs.
It’s no surprise that Atletico Madrid are the favourites for this one but they have only won one of their last ten UEFA Champions League meetings with English clubs (D2 L7), beating Manchester United 1-0 in March 2022, they are 9/5 to win this game without conceding.
It’s quite remarkable that Atletico Madrid have never lost a UCL knockout stage home game under Diego Simeone at either Vicente Calderón (W7, D4) or Metropolitano (W6, D2), they should keep the record going in this one.

What’s left to be said about Spurs? They are a side in genuine danger of being relegated from the Premier League, especially after their 3-1 defeat in their last outing against Crystal Palace, they’ve now lost each of their last five games.
However, for some reason we tend to see a different Tottenham Hotspur side in European football, they’ve lost just one of their eight games in the league-phase with five victories (D2), enough to finish fourth, they travel to Madrid as the underdogs, priced at 9/2 on William Hill to win this first leg.
Tottenham are winless in their six previous UEFA away matches against Spanish teams (D3 L3) and have managed just three wins in their last 15 UEFA games against Spanish opposition overall (D5 L7).

Significant Conditions

The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
A “Qualifying Acca” is:
1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;
4. On the Promotion Markets.
The “Promotion Markets” are:
1. 90 Minutes;
2. 90 Minutes 2 Up;
3. Both Teams To Score;
4. Match Under/Over Goals.
No opt in required. If the requirements of a Qualifying Acca are met, the promotion will be applied automatically. If any acca contains any selection with odds of less than 1/5 (1.2), it will not be a Qualifying Acca.
Qualifying Acca wins (less the value of the original stake) will receive an “Acca Boost”, whereby winnings will be boosted by a variable percentage, dependent on the number of selections in the Qualifying Acca:
1. 4 selections – 5% Acca Boost
2. 5 selections – 7.5% Acca Boost
3. 6 selections – 10% Acca Boost
4. 7 selections – 15% Acca Boost
5. 8 selections – 20% Acca Boost
6. 9 selections – 25% Acca Boost
7. 10 selections – 30% Acca Boost
8. 11 selections – 35% Acca Boost
9. 12 selections – 40% Acca Boost
10. 13 selections – 45% Acca Boost
11. 14 selections – 50% Acca Boost
12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
1. For retail customers: £2,000
2. For online customers: £10,000.
There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
Any acca that has been cashed out will not be eligible for an Acca Boost.
For retail customers, the promotion is not available on standard over the counter bets.
