The UEFA Champions League returns this week with some of Europe’s biggest clubs looking to put themselves on their way to Budapest for the final in May.

A raucous Stade Vélodrome awaits Marseille welcome European giants Liverpool in this UEFA Champions League battle on Wednesday evening.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Champions League odds and betting angles for Wednesday’s fixture:

Saturday’s 5-2 victory away at Angers in Ligue 1 kept Marseille slim title chances alive, with The Phocaeans now eight points behind the surprise league leaders in Lens, whilst they return to UCL action on Wednesday night looking to all but confirm their place in the top twenty-four.
Back-t0-back victories in the UEFA Champions League means Roberto De Zerbi’s side sit sixteenth and victory in this one would see them move above Liverpool but given theirs already a three-point gap to the top eight, an automatic qualification spot seems unlikely.
A win for OM on Wednesday night would bring up three consecutive wins for the first time in this competition since the 2010/2011 campaign, whilst their victory against Newcastle ended their run of twelve successive games against English sides without a win.

Liverpool head to the south of France having faced more disappointment in the Premier League on Saturday, the Reds played out a 1-1 draw against struggling Burnley at Anfield which was met by more boos from the Kop as the pressure ramps up on Arne Slot.
Although that’s now twelve games without a defeat for Liverpool, they’ve played out four stalemates in their last five outings, whilst their last defeat came in this competition back in November with a 4-1 thumping against PSV.
There is hope for the Reds though, they’ve won sixteen of their last nineteen UEFA Champions League group stage/league phase matches (L3) and lost only two of their last eight games against French teams at this stage (W5 D1).

Prediction: Draw, Marseille 2-2 Liverpool.

Significant Conditions

The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
A “Qualifying Acca” is:
1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;
4. On the Promotion Markets.
The “Promotion Markets” are:
1. 90 Minutes;
2. 90 Minutes 2 Up;
3. Both Teams To Score;
4. Match Under/Over Goals.
No opt in required. If the requirements of a Qualifying Acca are met, the promotion will be applied automatically. If any acca contains any selection with odds of less than 1/5 (1.2), it will not be a Qualifying Acca.
Qualifying Acca wins (less the value of the original stake) will receive an “Acca Boost”, whereby winnings will be boosted by a variable percentage, dependent on the number of selections in the Qualifying Acca:
1. 4 selections – 5% Acca Boost
2. 5 selections – 7.5% Acca Boost
3. 6 selections – 10% Acca Boost
4. 7 selections – 15% Acca Boost
5. 8 selections – 20% Acca Boost
6. 9 selections – 25% Acca Boost
7. 10 selections – 30% Acca Boost
8. 11 selections – 35% Acca Boost
9. 12 selections – 40% Acca Boost
10. 13 selections – 45% Acca Boost
11. 14 selections – 50% Acca Boost
12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
1. For retail customers: £2,000
2. For online customers: £10,000.
There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
Any acca that has been cashed out will not be eligible for an Acca Boost.
For retail customers, the promotion is not available on standard over the counter bets.
