The UEFA Champions League returns this week with some of Europe’s biggest clubs looking to put themselves on their way to Budapest for the final in May.

Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping to make some history in the UEFA Champions League when they welcome Atletico Madrid looking to overturn a 3-goal deficit on Wednesday evening.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some UEFA Champions League odds and betting angles for Wednesday’s fixture:

Tottenham Hotspur have it all to do on Wednesday night following their embarrassing 5-2 defeat against Atletico Madrid last week, maybe they’ll be filled with confidence having picked up their firs point under Igor Tudor at the weekend against Liverpool.
History is against Spurs though, there’s only been four occasions from fifty-one attempts where a side have progress through a UEFA Champions League knockout tie after losing the first leg by 3+ goals, William Hill have priced Spurs at 14/1 to make some history here by qualifying.
The London team are unbeaten in their last 24 UEFA home matches (W20 D4), and they have won all four this season without conceding a goal but even with that stat, this is still a big ask for Igor Tudor’s side.

Atletico Madrid’s five goals last week in the first leg set a new club record for the most goals in a single UEFA Champions League campaign with twenty-nine, they’ll be expected to add to that total on Wednesday night.
Atleti have won ten of their fourteen UEFA two-legged ties against English clubs, though they have lost two of the last three, punters can back Diego Simeone’s side to win this game at 13/10 on the ‘2 up’ market with William Hill.
We should see some goals in London on Wednesday evening, with Atletico Madrid conceding in all eleven of their UCL games played this season and with Spurs having to through everything at it, this should be entertaining.

Significant Conditions

The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
A “Qualifying Acca” is:
1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;
4. On the Promotion Markets.
The “Promotion Markets” are:
1. 90 Minutes;
2. 90 Minutes 2 Up;
3. Both Teams To Score;
4. Match Under/Over Goals.
No opt in required. If the requirements of a Qualifying Acca are met, the promotion will be applied automatically. If any acca contains any selection with odds of less than 1/5 (1.2), it will not be a Qualifying Acca.
Qualifying Acca wins (less the value of the original stake) will receive an “Acca Boost”, whereby winnings will be boosted by a variable percentage, dependent on the number of selections in the Qualifying Acca:
1. 4 selections – 5% Acca Boost
2. 5 selections – 7.5% Acca Boost
3. 6 selections – 10% Acca Boost
4. 7 selections – 15% Acca Boost
5. 8 selections – 20% Acca Boost
6. 9 selections – 25% Acca Boost
7. 10 selections – 30% Acca Boost
8. 11 selections – 35% Acca Boost
9. 12 selections – 40% Acca Boost
10. 13 selections – 45% Acca Boost
11. 14 selections – 50% Acca Boost
12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
1. For retail customers: £2,000
2. For online customers: £10,000.
There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
Any acca that has been cashed out will not be eligible for an Acca Boost.
For retail customers, the promotion is not available on standard over the counter bets.
