William Hill ambassador Dani Jackson casts her eye over the action at Nottingham this Bank Holiday Monday, browsing the greyhounds odds and previewing the Puppy Classic Final.

The puppy classic final kicks off a sequence of three top class races at Nottingham tonight, with the Select Stakes and the Select Stayers straight after.

In the Category one for pups I think SCOOBY MUSTANG is going to take a world of beating. He has dominated from the off in both rounds so far securing victory by over six lengths in round one and by almost four in the semis.

He really seems to have taken to Nottingham, which not all dogs do as it is a tricky track. He’s won from one, three and four in the past and tries two for the third time, looking for his first win in blue.

It’s a belter of a final with the litter brothers Annadown Warrior and Annadown Shadow in here, along with the only little girl in the field, Lady Gambet in three who could be the fly in the ointment for the boys and I think is a big price for one so young.

It’s one of my favourite nights of the year at Nottingham and always brightens up the bank holiday. I’ll be calling the runners home for you on Betting TV this year and I cannot wait!
