William Hill News
After months of waiting the NFL is finally underway and two weeks in we’ve already been shown a whole host of action. We know it’s still early days, but we’ve broken down the NFC North winner predictions, with insight into team news, performance and the upcoming games. So, without further ado…
The Vikings have been winners of the division in two of the last three years, and based on our NFC North winner predictions where they are trading at EVS, they’ve been wagered to repeat their successes.
The Vikings made the bold signing of Kirk Cousins in the off-season, who was the bright spark in a sub-par Redskin’s team last year. Yet working alongside outstanding receivers Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen at Minesota should unlock his star potential to an elite level.
After last week’s demolition of the Tennessee Titans, they’re our pick to win against the Buffalo Bills, and have been tipped to win with odds of 71/100.
Meanwhile, the Bills are 17/2 outsiders, and although they have been tipped to win by 1-6 points with odds of 14/1, we’ve predicted Cousins and co to be to strong for Sean McDermott’s men.
An Aaron Rodgers-led offence will pose a threat for every team across the NFL, and we’ve tipped them emerge as victors of the group, with bets at 11/8.
Yet they are so much more than Aaron Rodgers: Jimmy Graham is a great touchdown target, and Randal Cobbs, their wide receiver, possesses the pace and trickery to find just the right pockets of space to exploit.
However, after last week’s disappointment that saw them draw against the Vikings in the dying moments of the game, they will need their attacking assets to perform at peak efficiency once again.
We’ve tipped them to win against the Washington Redskins, trading at 17/25 as part of our NFC North winner predictions, with odds of 10/3 suggesting that they’ll win by a margin of 1-6 points.

The Bears are still playing catch-up to the rest of the heavyweights in the group, and after the last few seasons being deemed as failures, our betting tipsters have given them a 13/2 chance to top the group as part of our NFC North winner predictions.
Yet, despite this, the Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is showing signs of the being the coveted player he was in last seasons draft, and the Bears receivers have caused problems for oppositions teams before to suggest that they’ll be just as threatening this time around.
This week they face Steven Wilk’s Arizona Cardinals, and we’ve tipped them to win with odds of 11/25. However, the Cardinals have been picked to win by 1-6 points, and this means that the Bears will have to graft against Mike Glennon and co.
The Lions may be overshadowed by the Vikings and the Packers, but they could be the dark horses of the group and we’ve made them our pick to win with odds of 16/1 as part of our NFC North winner predictions.
Matt Patricia’s side impressed last season with quarterback Matthew Stafford delivering the goods, and they’ve made off-season recruitments to boost their running game which adds an extra dimension to their offence.
They began the season with a narrow defeat to the 49ers, and will want to bounce back this weekend with a win, but they face tough opposition in Tom Brady’s New England Patriots. The Lions have been tipped as 49/20 outsiders, but will be given encouragement after the Pats lost last week against the Jaguars.
Betting tipsters are trading them to win by a margin of 1-6 points with odds of 9/2- a tall order indeed.
