Wimbledon Day 4 Predictions: Best Bets On Thursday 2nd July 2026
Attention turns to the second round of Wimbledon 2026, with William Hill News previewing the biggest matches taking place on Thursday 2nd July.
It’s the fourth day of this summer’s Championships and punters will be keeping a close eye on proceedings, especially with several British players due to take to the court.
Wimbledon Predictions Thursday:
- Alex de Minaur to win 3-0 (13/10)
- Arthur Fils -3.5 games (4/5)
- Madison Keys -5.5 games (8/11)
- Linda Nosková to win 2-0 (7/10)
The second round of the men’s and women’s draws are underway on Thursday. Here are our tennis betting tips for July 2:
Alex de Minaur vs Adrian Mannarino
Meeting for a seventh time, Alex de Minaur is aiming for his sixth win over Adrian Mannarino. The Australian has already beat Mannarino on grass this year and hasn’t lost to the veteran since 2022.
Both players won easily in the first round. Mannarino, though, has been far from his best in 2026 and has a particularly poor record since reaching the final in Montpellier in early February.
De Minaur has endured some disappointing defeats in 2026, but his overall form is good enough to indicate this will be a routine win.
Matteo Berrettini vs Arthur Fils
After retiring in Rome, Arthur Fils missed Roland Garros. The Frenchman came into Wimbledon off a long injury absence, but still won his first-round match in straight sets.
Matteo Berrettini came from a set down to beat Stan Wawrinka. A heartbreaking end to his French Open run is still relatively fresh in the memory, and the Italian won’t be stoked about his second round matchup given the standards Fils has reached this year.
Fils isn’t blessed with much grass-court experience, but he should be able to wrap this up without much sweat.
Katie Swan vs Madison Keys
Madison Keys has won both of her previous matches against Katie Swan. Swan has only beaten one player in the world’s top 100 since June 2023, but that notably came in Ilkley last month.
Keys came from a set down to beat her compatriot Kayla Day in the first round. She’s a two-time Wimbledon quarterfinalist and won in Eastbourne after beating Karolina Muchova in Berlin.
It’s been a horrible start to Wimbledon for the Brits. Swan isn’t going to be able to buck that trend here.
Camila Osorio vs Linda Nosková
Camila Osorio’s highs in 2026 have been clear, with wins over Iva Jovic and Ekaterina Alexandrova. She lost in qualifying at Eastbourne, however, and lacks grass-court experience.
Linda Nosková won in Berlin, defeating Jessica Pegula in the final. She was a semifinalist at Indian Wells and has improved on grass in recent years.
Even though Osorio won the previous meeting, Nosková is rightly favoured for this contest.
