Wimbledon Day 9 Predictions: Best Bets On Tuesday 7th July 2026

| BY Sam Cox

We are entering the business stage of the 2026 Wimbledon Tennis Championships and the pressure is on as the remaining players bid to advance to the semi-finals of this summer’s event.

Follow the latest tennis news at William Hill and enjoy the best of Wimbledon this summer, with the likes of Jannik Sinner and Naomi Osaka both in action on Tuesday.

Wimbledon Predictions Tuesday:

  • Jannik Sinner -7.5 games (4/5)
  • Félix Auger-Aliassime +2.5 (10/11)
  • Naomi Osaka to win (4/5)
  • Jessica Pegula vs Coco Gauff: Over 23.5 games (Evens)

Tuesday sees the start of the quarterfinals across the singles draws, with Jannik Sinner and Naomi Osaka among the stars in action. Here are our top tennis betting tips:

Jannik Sinner vs Jan-Lennard Struff

Maybe we shouldn’t be so surprised by Jan-Lennard Struff reaching the last eight. The German, after all, beat Alexander Bublik at the French Open and had reached the fourth round of Slams on multiple occasions.

Struff benefited from Hubert Hurkacz’s retirement after seeing off Daniil Medvedev. His reward is a matchup with world number one Jannik Sinner. The Italian has been in imperious form since a first-round scare.

Sinner has won his previous three matches against Struff, losing only one set in the process.

Félix Auger-Aliassime vs Novak Djokovic

A turbulent win over Alejandro Davidovich Fokina has taken Félix Auger-Aliassime to his first Wimbledon quarterfinal since 2021. Novak Djokovic was made to work by Roman Safiullin and Arthur Rinderknech in the last two rounds, and he’s aiming to make it eight consecutive Wimbledon semifinal appearances.

Auger-Aliassime has a 1-1 record against Djokovic, though they have curiously not met since 2022. It’s fair to wonder whether the Canadian has what it takes when the stakes get this high given his tendency to fall short in the second week of Grand Slams.

It’s hard for Djokovic to win longer matches at this stage of his career, though, so maybe Auger-Aliassime can outlast the veteran Serbian.

Naomi Osaka vs Karolína Muchová

Into her first Wimbledon quarterfinal after a stunning win over Aryna Sabalenka, Naomi Osaka is three wins away from her first Slam title in five years. Karolína Muchová’s path to the last eight has been straightforward – Osaka is the first seeded player she will face.

Muchová took the win over Osaka in Homburg, making it 3-3 all-time. Osaka beat Muchová at the US Open and Australian Open in 2025. Despite several marquee wins in 2026, this is pretty unfamiliar territory for Muchová, who has much less experience in the second week of Slams than Osaka.

Everything suggests this will be a hard-fought match. The tennis Osaka played to beat Sabalenka gives us confidence she can make the last four.

Jessica Pegula vs Coco Gauff

Meeting for a ninth time, Jessica Pegula has a 5-3 record against Coco Gauff. It’s 1-1 on grass, however, and they have rarely met with this much on the line as neither player has ever reached a Wimbledon semifinal.

Pegula’s preparation was much stronger, with a run to the final in Berlin. Gauff suffered a first-round exit in the same event. Both players have had scares at the All England Club – Gauff needed a third-set tiebreaker to beat Solana Sierra, and Pegula had to come from a set down against Iva Jovic.

This is a match that should go the distance. There’s not a huge amount to choose between these players on grass.
