South London punter only willing to risk 4p on Chisora victory
Dereck Chisora is finding it hard to attract any significant bets ahead of his fight against Vitali Klitschko on Saturday having been the subject of a 4p bet at 7/1 with William Hill, highlighting just how much faith the betting public have in Del-Boy doing the business.
Just 10% of all bets take have been for Chisora to win the fight with the largest bet having been staked in Kent for £100.
Surprisingly, considering the support for Klitschko, the fight has been backed to last the distance at 3/1 (2/9 not to).
"Klitschko is firm favourite to win the fight and punters are backing him as such," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly. "The fact that one punter from South London is only willing to risk 4p on Chisora winning the fight says it all really."
Chisora has allegedly been banned from using the theme tune to Only Fools And Horses to walk on to, but despite this, Hills offer 5/1 that he ignores the promoters and uses it anyway.
