The UEFA Champions League is back for round six of Europe’s most prestigious club football competition, with Paris Saint-Germain looking to defend their crown.

The UEFA Champions League returns this week with some of Europe’s biggest clubs looking to put themselves on their way to Budapest for the final in May.

This is a straight shootout with an automatic qualification spot up for grabs in the UEFA Champions League, as the defending champions PSG welcome Newcastle United on Wednesday night.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Champions League odds and betting angles for Wednesday’s fixture:

The reining champions suffered their second defeat in this campaign away at Sporting in their last UCL outing, they’ve got another chance to secure a top eight spot here although they’ve won none of their two meetings against Newcastle (D1, L1).
Luis Enrique’s side will be glad to return to the Parc des Princes where they’ve been beaten in just two of their last eighteen UCL group stage/league phase matches (W13, D3), whilst they’ve scored three or more goals in three of their last four UCL home games.
Despite failing to beat Newcastle in their previous two meetings, PSG have won five of their last seven meetings in a UEFA competition against English opposition, whilst they head into Wednesday’s fixture unbeaten in their last four such games.

Newcastle United find themselves seventh in the UCL league phase table having won four of their seven outings so far, with only goals scores separating them and Wednesday night’s opponents PSG.
Eddie Howe’s side have only picked up four of their thirteen points away from home though, the Magpies haven’t travelled well this season having won just three of their fourteen away games in all competitions.
This is Newcastle’s second trip to France this season having suffered a 2-1 defeat to Marseille earlier in the campaign, they’ve now won only one of their nine UEFA competition games away from home against French teams (D3 L5).

Significant Conditions

The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
A “Qualifying Acca” is:
1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;
4. On the Promotion Markets.
The “Promotion Markets” are:
1. 90 Minutes;
2. 90 Minutes 2 Up;
3. Both Teams To Score;
4. Match Under/Over Goals.
No opt in required. If the requirements of a Qualifying Acca are met, the promotion will be applied automatically. If any acca contains any selection with odds of less than 1/5 (1.2), it will not be a Qualifying Acca.
Qualifying Acca wins (less the value of the original stake) will receive an “Acca Boost”, whereby winnings will be boosted by a variable percentage, dependent on the number of selections in the Qualifying Acca:
1. 4 selections – 5% Acca Boost
2. 5 selections – 7.5% Acca Boost
3. 6 selections – 10% Acca Boost
4. 7 selections – 15% Acca Boost
5. 8 selections – 20% Acca Boost
6. 9 selections – 25% Acca Boost
7. 10 selections – 30% Acca Boost
8. 11 selections – 35% Acca Boost
9. 12 selections – 40% Acca Boost
10. 13 selections – 45% Acca Boost
11. 14 selections – 50% Acca Boost
12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
1. For retail customers: £2,000
2. For online customers: £10,000.
There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
Any acca that has been cashed out will not be eligible for an Acca Boost.
For retail customers, the promotion is not available on standard over the counter bets.
